  1. Pre-booking for morning worship meetings. If you’d like to attend the morning worship service at 10am, please pre-book your seat by Whatsapping Louis at 0825245920

    • We will continue creating online services for those who (for good reasons) cannot attend the services yet. The message in the online service will be the one recorded the previous Sunday at the hall. So the message preached today will be online next week.

  7. PLAN TO HELP THOSE WHO GET SICK WITH COVID-19. We want to help those who need to self-quarantine due to being sick with COVID-19 or who have been in contact with someone who tested positive. This involves two things:
    a) If you do get sick or need to quarantine, please let us know. Let us know what type of help you need. E.g. help with buying your groceries, deliver meals, etc.
    b) We’ll need volunteers who will be able to help with the above (buying / making and delivering food). If you are able to assist in this way, please let Carel-J know.
  8. BADISA FOOD PARCELS – Badisa knows of many vulnerable, poor families who are not able to provide for themselves during these times. They pack and deliver food parcels to these families. You can help by buying and placing non-perishable items in the containers provided at SPAR and OK

    • Praise the LORD that the COVID-19 numbers in Stilbaai, Melkhoutfontein and Riversdale are very low at the moment
    • Praise God that we are (legally and safely) allowed to meet together at the Sunday worship service and in Bible studies.

    • Pray for everyone returning to the universities at the moment.
    • HEALTH PROBLEMS Pray for people dealing with health issues: Martha, Godwin, Garness, Magriet, Lex, Gemma Sainsbury, Yvonne and her daughter Desiree, Amanda’s dad, Denzil (Mervyn’s brother), Maryna Oosthuizen (COVID-19), Ned and Zarita (safely home, but still struggling to get fully healthy after COVID-19)
      • PRAY FOR OTHER SICK PEOPLE. Pray for those struggling with cancer. Pray for those who are in hospital at the moment who are not allowed visitors. Pray that they’ll experience God’s presence, comfort and healing.

      • Please pray for Denzil (Mervyn’s brother) who has prostate cancer. He is going for radiation.
      • Please pray for Elva Sinclair. We prayed for her son, Mark, who had cancer. Sadly he passed away a couple of days ago. Please pray for Elva and the rest of the family. (Elva stays with Miriam in the shared home)
      • PRAY FOR OTHER SICK PEOPLE. Pray for those struggling with cancer. Pray for those who are in hospital at the moment who are not allowed visitors. Pray that they’ll experience God’s presence, comfort and healing.
    • COVID-19:  
      • Update from Ned and Zarita “Have just spoken to the nurse & she says they’re both doing well & could be discharged tomorrow or Monday.: Praise God!
      • Maryna Oosthuizen. Please pray for Maryna Oosthuizen who are also sick with COVID-19. She is on medication and she’s doing well at the moment.

May the LORD cut off all flattering lips, the tongue that makes great boasts,

    • Michael Margerison and his girlfriend Georgia both have COVID-19, but their chests and breathing are not affected.
  • PRAYER REQUESTS:

      • Ned and Zaritha Herman have both tested positive for COVID-19. They are both doing well, but the doctors are keeping an eye on Ned’s diabetes. They thank the church for their prayers.
      • Pray for Michael Margerison (Ian and Sonja’s son living in the UK). Both him and his girlfriend, Georgia, have tested positive for COVID-19. Please keep on praying for their continued healing.
      • Please pray for MARK who has cancer. Mark ‘s mother lives with Miriam in the same house and both Mark and his mom need your prayers.

      • Pray for businesses who have / are being affected by the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions that God will provide for them.
      • Pray for those who have lost their jobs due to the results of COVID-19 and the lockdown.
