Good morning!

How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD of hosts!
My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the LORD; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God.
Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, at your altars, O LORD of hosts, my King and my God.
Blessed are those who dwell in your house, ever singing your praise! Selah

Amen

1) Preparation and Prayer

Good morning!

Read the following Psalm as a prayer in preparing your heart for meeting with God.

The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein, for He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.
Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? And who shall stand in his holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully.
He will receive blessing from the LORD and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
Such is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob.

Amen

1) Preparation and Prayer

Good morning!

Read the following Psalm as a prayer in preparing your heart for meeting with God.

This is also the prayer we are praying over the violence and hatred and fires happening up north:

As fire consumes the forest, as the flame sets the mountains ablaze,
so may you pursue them with your tempest and terrify them with your hurricane!
Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek your name, O LORD.
Let them be put to shame and dismayed forever; let them perish in disgrace,
that they may know that you alone, whose name is the LORD, are the Most High over all the earth.

Amen

Good morning!

Be not silent, O God of my praise!

In return for my love they accuse me, but I give myself to prayer.

Amen

Good morning!

May the glory of the LORD endure forever; may the LORD rejoice in his works,

I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have being.
May my meditation be pleasing to him, for I rejoice in the LORD.

Amen

Good morning!

Read the following Psalm as a prayer in preparing your heart for meeting with God.Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises!
Sing praises to the LORD with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody!
With trumpets and the sound of the horn make a joyful noise before the King, the LORD!
Let the sea roar, and all that fills it; the world and those who dwell in it!
Let the rivers clap their hands; let the hills sing for joy together

1) VOORBEREIDING EN GEBED

Lees die volgende Psalm saam as ‘n gebed ter hartsvoorbereiding om die Here te ontmoet

??? Uit die benoudheid het ek die HERE aangeroep; die HERE het my verhoor in die ruimte.
Die HERE is vír my; ek sal nie vrees nie: wat kan ’n mens my doen?
Die HERE is vír my as my helper; so sal ék dan neersien op die wat my haat.
Dit is beter om by die HERE te skuil as om op mense te vertrou.
Dit is beter om by die HERE te skuil as om op edeles te vertrou.

Amen

(Psalm 118:5–9)

1) Preparation and Prayer

Good morning!

Read the following Psalm as a prayer in preparing your heart for meeting with God.

Out of my distress I called on the LORD; the LORD answered me and set me free.
The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
The LORD is on my side as my helper; I shall look in triumph on those who hate me.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.

Amen

(Psalm 118:5–9)

6) Prayer

Spend time in prayer praying for the following:

  • PEOPLE ON THE BULLETIN to pray for: Yvonne Roth; Johannes and Charlotte Swart
  • HEALTH PROBLEMS Pray for people dealing with health issues: Martha, Godwin, Sue (Delene’s sister), Garness, Magriet, Lex, Gemma Sainsbury, Desiree ( Yvonne Roth’s daughter), John Malan (cancer), Lorna, Sharn, Gert and Lesley
  • Update from Amanda Horn about her dad:
    • The Dr says they can not know for sure until they get the results back (probably mon or tues) but he is 95% sure it is cancer from how it looks. From what he has seen it has gone through the colon lining and is affecting the lymph nodes but he can not be sure. He asked them to not waste time getting results but to rather start planning now that it is cancer. My parents will either come to Kansas for treatment or will stay in Kenya. In Kenya there is a good hospital and they have an amazing support system, and good Drs at a reasonable price. In Kansas they will have the best specialist, but at a huge price. They do not have as good of a support system here, but us girls will be here.
My brother is currently in Kenya, the middle sister, Andrea, is in South Sudan and my youngest sister just moved 3 minutes away form us in Kansas, so she and I would be able to take care of them if they came here or Ben and Andrea could help if they decide to stay in Kenya.
  • Update from Yvonne Roth:
    • l have been down with a very painful knee and swollen legs for more than a week. Will be having another injection into the knee on Monday. Please pray for complete healing. So thankful that l have a wonderful neighbour who comes in to help. I praise our Father that 2 of my granddaughters have come to faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and were baptised. I thank our Father for the blessings and strength for each day and a loving and caring family.
  • Pray for those who lost their job / are not able to find work.
  • Pray for the 3 things we want to pray for every day
    1) Spiritual health. Pray for God to strengthen, encourage and grow his church. Pray for people to turn to God.
    2) Physical health Pray for God to have mercy on Stilbaai, SA, Africa and the world. For healing and protection from infection.
    3) Emotional health. Pray against anxiety, loneliness, fear and depression.
  • Prayer for today:
    • Pray for the churches in South Africa. Pray for Christ-centered, Bible-believing, Spirit-filled, Gospel Preaching churches to be established in every town of South Africa
