1) Preparation and Prayer

Good morning!

Read the following Psalm as a prayer in preparing your heart for meeting with God.

Psalm 54:6–7 (ESV)
With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to You; I will give thanks to your name, O LORD, for it is good.
For He has delivered me from every trouble, and my eye has looked in triumph on my enemies.

Amen

2) Announcements

  • WHEN WILL WE PHYSICALLY WORSHIP TOGETHER AGAIN? This is a difficult decision with many things to consider. With the outbreak of COVID-19 growing rapidly in South Africa, now is a time to avoid physical contact. If you can do something without physically having to meet with someone: do it that way. This is also true for our Sunday meetings. But in the coming weeks, the elders will discuss the best way to move forward.
  • If, HOWEVER,  you are struggling emotionally and spiritually and you are needing counseling, please contact Carel-J. I am allowed to visit people in their homes for counseling. (Obviously taking all precautions like wearing masks during counseling, etc.)
  • LET US KNOW HOW YOU ARE DOING? Thank you to those who’ve replied to my Whatsapp message. If you haven’t yet, please send me your reply that I can collate it and send it out to the whole church. It helps us to stay connected as a family and to know how to pray for each other
    1) How are you doing? What road has God been walking with you in these lockdown days
    2) Please send all your prayer requests for yourself or loved ones.
